Beachfront Eclipse Brown Bag Bash
Join the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce for an unforgettable experience at the Beachfront Eclipse Brown Bag Bash! On April 8th from 1-2pm, bring your lunch, a beach towel or chair, and get ready to witness the awe-inspiring solar eclipse right from the Perdido Key State Park Beach located across from the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce Office (15500 Perdido Key Drive).
We'll provide eclipse glasses to ensure you can safely observe this rare celestial event. Admission to the state park beach access is only $3 per person, so come on your lunch break for an afternoon of wonder and excitement!
The April 8, 2024 eclipse will be a total solar eclipse. During a total solar eclipse, the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun completely obscuring the Sun. All of the United States will experience a partial solar eclipse.
Partial eclipse begins at 12:33 pm CDT, total eclipse begins at 1:51 pm CDT. Duration is 4 minutes, 8 seconds.
Glasses are to be shared amongst attendees and will given out at the State Park.
